In the early 2010s, China’s road traffic infrastructure construction entered a period of rapid expansion, with demand for intelligent traffic safety facilities surging nationwide. Domestic road safety equipment at that time mostly relied on imported core technology, and there was a lack of independent R&D brands capable of adapting to complex domestic mountainous roads, urban intersections and extreme outdoor weather conditions.
With accumulated industry experience, engineering resource reserves and a core technical team, the founder firmly believed that local independent research and manufacturing could deliver traffic safety products with performance matching overseas imported equipment, while better fitting China’s diverse road scenarios. The mission of “independent core technology, replace imported equipment, build domestic trusted traffic safety brand” gradually took shape. Finally, the founder founded Jiangsu KED Colton Traffic Safety Technology Co., Ltd., vowing to break the monopoly of foreign products in the intelligent traffic safety field and create reliable, cost-effective road safety equipment for global road construction.
